We were back at Buxted Park Hotel on the beautiful Ashdown Forest in late october this year to photograph Rhehema & Robert's amazing wedding day. Jason started the day meeting Rhehema for some bridal preparation shots in the stylish accommodation at Buxted Park. Rhehema was busy getting ready with her gorgeous Bridesmaids and Flowergirls. Rhehema's gown was a dramatic floor length, white dress with a flurry of chiffon to the bottom coming out in a stunning full train. The gown had a pretty drop back and the bodice was fitted and adorned with floral appliqué. The Bridesmaids wore floor length dresses in slightly different styles in shades of taupe and nude and the little flower girls wore ivory dresses with ribbons to the waist and perfectly matching gloves!
Soon Robert arrived with his Best Man and Sam met him for some "Groomsmen" shots in the grounds of the Buxted Park Hotel. Robert looked sharp in his navy blue suit with ivory waistcoat and matching tie. Robert and his Groomsmen wore ivory Rose button holes embellished with small autumnal flowers and berries.
Before we knew it the ceremony was starting and Rhehema walked in to join her Groom to the beautiful sounds of a violinist. The ceremony room was decorated in muted pinks and ivory, with candles down the aisle and scatterings of rose petals. The ceremony was very intimate and lovely and it wasnt long before Rhehema and Robert walked back up the aisle as the new Mr & Mrs to celebratory drinks and lots of confetti throwing - which always makes a fantastic shot!
Rhehema & Robert enjoyed a quick welcome drink and mingle with their guests and then we whisked them away for some private shots in the grounds of the hotel. The scenery was just stunning with all the autumnal colours of the trees and the leaves.
After some slightly more formal groups shots with Jason doing his thing organising everyone (!) we then went into the wedding breakfast. The wedding breakfast suite was beautifully decorated continuing the colour theme of muted pinks and ivory. There were crystal candle centre pieces and an amazing floral decorated tiered wedding cake. The room looked very opulent and tasteful.
Soon it was time for the speeches and then some dancing with a surprise appearance from a live African singer. This got everyone up on their feet to show some of their dance moves!
Rhehema then had an outfit change into a stunning ivory tiered dress for the cutting of the cake. Robert changed into a tux - both looked nothing short of movie stars!
The evening progressed to lots more dancing and Rhehema made one more outfit change in to a drop dead gorgeous blue and gold floor length dress to join her husband on the dance floor for their first dance as man & wife.
The day was just brilliant. We loved capturing the couples special day. We also had the pleasure of working with Carol & her team from Cut Above Productions who were videoing the day for Rhehema & Robert.
We wish Rhehema & Robert all the very best for a future of happiness and thank them for being a great couple to work with and for making us feel so welcome on their wedding day.
All the best
Jason
