On a very cold & windy day in December we joined Elizabeth & Michael to celebrate their fantastic wedding day at St Mary the Virgin which is a really pretty church set up on a hill in the middle of the the picturesque Ticehurst. It was very near to Christmas and the whole place had such a Christmassy feel to it with people rushing about to get their last few bits before Christmas! The church was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers forming an arch over the church door and on the ends of the pews inside.
Sam joined Michael at the church for some photos of him and his Groomsman before hand and Jason was with Elizabeth at her parents house for bridal prep shots. Elizabeth wore a beautiful strapless fitted gown with delicate beadwork and her bridesmaids wore a subtle grey colour. The flower girls were gorgeous in light grey dresses too! Michael, his Bestman and the Father of the Bride wore black tuxedos and looked very sharp! The fresh flower theme was continued throughout with stunning bouquets for the girls and button holes for the boys.
The ceremony went without a hitch and soon the new Mr & Mrs walked out to the very cold December weather! This didn't put them off though and they smiled throughout the formal family shots and soon headed off to The High Rocks at Tunbridge Wells for more shots in the rocks which made a dazzling backdrop.
The couple decorated the wedding breakfast room with fresh flowers and had a back drop behind the top table full of ivory flowers which looked so effective. The day went brilliantly with lots of laughs at the speeches and much partying after on the dance floor.
We were so happy to be a part of Elizabeth & Michael's wedding and to meet all their lovely family and friends.
Once again we worked with Carol and her team from Cut Above Productions who were videoing the day and it is always a pleasure to work with.
All the best to Elizabeth & Michael for a very happy future.
