On a lovely bright day in July this year we had the pleasure of photographing Kirsti & Nick's wedding at Leeford. Although Leeford have had an outdoor ceremony area for a little while now it is the first time we have photographed when the weather has been good enough to use it. It was so lovely being able to photograph outside and always makes for great ceremony images when we are able to do so.
Jason arrived first at Leeford to find Kirsti for bridal prep shots with her Bridesmaids and Sam arrived a little later to meet Nick for some 'before' shots of him and his Groomsmen.
Kirsti chose a gorgeous, show stopping gown for her big day. It was a floor length fit n flare strapless dress with lots of beautiful floral details. She went for sparkly flats for her foot wear and carried a pretty bouquet of pink Roses. Her Bridesmaids had deep burgundy dresses with cross over front details and also had pretty sparkly flip flops.They carried bouquets of gypsophila and Roses.
Nick wore a slim fit blue sit with a grey waistcoat. He had a burgundy handkerchief in his suit pocket and a pink Rose button hole. His Groomsmen all matched and they looked very smart with a modern edge.
Soon the ceremony started and Kirsti was walked down the aisle by her proud Dad. The ceremony was lovely albeit very warm for the guests sitting outside but Kirsti & Nick had thought of everything and had pretty white heart fans for the guests to cool off with!
Soon the ceremony was over and we did a lovely confetti shot outside the pine double doors at the back of the country house and then Kirsti & Nick mingled for a little while with their guests enjoying ice lollies instead of the traditional canapés!
We took Kirsti & Nick off for a little while to have some private shots in the grounds and then came back to join their family and friends for the more formal group shots. Later we went into the wedding breakfast room and got some great shots of everyone enjoying the speeches and much later of everyone on the dance floor busting some moves or out in the gardens having fun with the lawn games.
It was a great day and we loved being able to capture Kirsti & Nick's special day in photos.
