We were back at Crockstead Farm in Halland in mid June this year to photograph Lucy & Tom's lovely country wedding. The weather was absolutely amazing and Lucy & Tom enjoyed a beautiful outdoor ceremony surrounded by their nearest and dearest, the ducks and the peacocks & their gorgeous dog Stanley (who Sam fell head over heels with!).
The day started with Sam meeting Tom at his home where he was getting ready for some 'before' shots of him and his Groomsmen. Tom wore a blue slim fit suit with a subtle stripe to it with a matching waistcoat and light grey bow tie. His Groomsmen followed the theme with blue suits and light grey ties. All had matching brown brogue shoes. Of course Stan the dog had a matching light grey bow tie too!
Jason went to Crockstead first thing to find Lucy who was getting ready with her lovely Bridesmaids and Mum at the bridal prep room at the venue. Lucy chose a really pretty floor length ivory gown for her big day. It had bardot shoulders with lots of pretty floral appliqué and tiny button details on the back. Lucy had a gorgeous pair of ivory and gold Irregular Choice shoes as well! The Bridesmaids wore steel grey halter neck dresses with sparkly flip flops and the Flower Girls wore ivory chiffon dresses with flowers on them. All the ladies carried bouquets of pink Roses.
Lucy was lucky enough to be given away by the two Dads in her life and followed her Bridesmaids and Flower Girls down the aisle - the Flower Girls carried a little hessian sign saying 'here comes the Bride!' The ceremony was lovely, especially as it was such a gorgeous sunny day. Soon Lucy & Tom had got the nerve wracking part over and walked back up the aisle with massive smiles on their faces to greet Stan the Dog at the end of the aisle! Very cute!
Once Lucy & Tom had chance to have a slurp of their celebratory welcome drink and a quick mingle with their guests we then went for a wander around the beautiful grounds at Crockstead for some private shots of the two of them. Next we moved onto group shots and soon it was time to go into the wedding breakfast.
Lucy & Tom had decorated the wedding breakfast room at Crockstead with lots of white butterflies hanging from the wooden beams and masses of sunflower and summer flower centre pieces. There was a fully stacked sweet trolley and a beautiful naked tiered wedding cake decorated with lots of flowers.
We had such a lovely day with Lucy & Tom and wish them all the best for a future of happiness together.
