We were really excited to get the opportunity to photograph Zoe & Nathan's wedding in April at the beautiful setting of Box Grove Priory which is an English Heritage site. The church is really pretty and there are the old ruins in the grounds. What made the wedding ceremony even more special was that Nathan's Father was the Vicar who officiated the ceremony - a first for us in all the time we have been photographing weddings!
Nathan arrived at Box Grove Priory for some 'before' shots of him and his Groomsmen. They all looked amazing in classic Black Tie suits in a slim fit to bring it back up to date. Nathan wore a pink patterned bow tie and the two Best Men wore plain pink bow ties. Nathan also rocked a pair of extremely shiny patent black shoes!
Zoe looked stunning in a white floor length bridal gown which had beading to the bodice and down the skirt which was a netted modified a line. The dress was strapless with a gorgeous diamonte belt and a fitted bodice. Her Bridesmaids wore muted pink dresses with beading on the semi sheer shoulders and a cross over bodice. They all carried floral bouquets of purple, lilac and pink seasonal flowers which were hand tied with straw.
The ceremony was beautiful in the fantastic setting of the church and had amazing light for photos. Soon the couple walked back up the aisle looking rather relieved at getting the nerve wracking part over with and were ready to party and get some great photos!
After the confetti shot we walked around the grounds with the Bride & Groom and got some beautiful shots making the most of the English Heritage site and then we all made our way to Upwaltham Barn and began the celebrations there. We went up on the hill tops with Zoe & Nathan (Zoe didn't complain once even though she was in heels climbing up a hill!) and used the amazing countryside views as a back drop for more photos.
Zoe & Nathan decorated their venue in a vintage, rustic theme. A lot of Gin must have been consumed prior to the wedding, thats all I can say as were were loads of pretty Gin bottles used for centre pieces with floral decorations inside and also as the seating plan.
Later the party really got started on the dance floor once the Bride had changed into her dancing shoes in the form of white Converse (the Guests tired feet hadn't been forgotten though as comfy flip flops were provided!).
We had a great day with Zoe & Nathan and wish them all the best for a future of happiness.
All the best
