On a beautifully sunny early August day we were at Blackstock Farm photographing Kayleigh & Stuart's lovely vintage, shabby chic wedding. Kayleigh & Stuart had worked tirelessly with their family and friends to decorate Blackstock and it probably looked the best we had ever seen it. Kayleigh and Stuart themed their wedding around pretty pale roses and country flowers, vintage pearls and rustic greenery. They had an amazing cake baked and decorated by Kayleigh's Dad (who isn't a cake maker by trade!) - he did a fantastic job. There was a G&T station for the welcome drinks with pale pink and white straws to drink the cocktails with! The couple decorated areas of the barn with photos and memorabillia from their time spent together and wrapped lace around the beams to really finish the decor beautifully.
The Bride got ready at a near by hotel with her Bridesmaids and Mum. The Bride wore a stunning ivory floor length dress with a fitted bodice with a gorgeous plunging sweetheart neckline. The dress flared out at the waist in a Princess style. The Bridesmaids lucked out with lovely pale Apricot dresses in flowing chiffon and cut out lace detail to the shoulders. They looked really up to date while still keeping that 'Bridesmaid' look.
The Groom wore a grey slim fit suit as did his Groomsmen. Pink ties and ivory Rose button holes completed their look. The Flower Girl wore a cute ivory dress with a pink satin ribbon to the waist and the Page Boy in a grey waistcoat and trousers complete with bow tie!
Soon it was time to get the ceremony under way and Kayleigh was proudly given away by her lovely Dad under the watchful eye of all of her family and friends. As the couple walked back up the aisle as Mr & Mrs they were showered with colourful paper confetti which made for gorgeous photos capturing a very special moment.
The party soon kicked off to celebrate with lots of opportunities for great natural shots with the guests out on the patio where they enjoyed canapés and drinks. We then took the Bride & Groom off for some private shots in the grounds and rounded up with some group shots before everyone sat for dinner.
After some really good speeches (and the obligatory 'guess the time of the speeches' competition!) Kayleigh & Stuart continued to party with their guests on the dance floor and enjoying the evening sunshine out on the patio overlooking amazing views of the Sussex countryside.
It was a brilliant day and we really enjoyed meeting Kayleigh & Stuart's very welcoming family and friends.
We wish the newly weds all the very best for many years of happiness.
All the best
