Emma & Rennie - Leeford Place Hotel, Nr Battle

September 30, 2017

We were back photographing at Leeford Place in late September this year and enjoyed a great day with Emma & Rennie. The couple had gone for a vintage, rustic themed wedding at Leeford and it looked simply stunning. The hotel bar area and ceremony room had been decorated with lots of rose petals, ivory flowers, hessian chair bow backs, swaths of chiffon fabric and lot of personal touches placed by the Bride & Groom, personalised confetti displays and LOVE lights. It really did look lovely. The wedding breakfast room continued the country theme with jugs full of meadow flowers as centre pieces and lots more hessian and floral decor. The cake was a giant tiered French Fancy cake in pastel colours and there was a jam packed sweet table. Along with lots of other quirky detail on the present table including alternatives to the traditional guest signing book. Lots of thought and planning!

Jason arrived to get some bridal preparation shots with Emma and her Bridesmaids and just a little later Sam arrived to get the detail shots of the ceremony room and meet Rennie and his gorgeous sons who were Page Boys for some 'before' shots.

The bridal dress was a stunning ivory floor length gown with sheer shoulders and appliqué detailing. Emma had amazing Irregular Choice shoes as well, always fun to photograph! The Bridesmaids wore beautiful floor length pastel mint chiffon dresses with beading to the shoulders and the Groom and Groomsmen wore slim fit light grey suits. The flowers were ivories and pinks and in keeping with the country side surroundings of Leeford Place.

Soon the ceremony was underway in the lovely ceremony room that Leeford have to the side of the hotel. The Bride was walked down the aisle by her very proud Dad and her Son confidently did a Reading (not a dry eye in the place!).

Emma & Rennie soon walked back up the aisle as the newly weds and out to showers of confetti which made for some great shots with lots of smiles. Emma & Rennie had a quick glass of bubbly to celebrate and then we had a relaxed wander around the grounds at Leeford getting some private Bride and Groom shots. We think the photos speak for themselves in showing how happy Emma & Rennie were at being wed!

After the wedding breakfast the speeches began and it wasn't long before evening guests were being greeted and the brilliant Magician arrived to entertain everyone. Later Emma & Rennie took to the dance floor for their first dance and were joined by their friends and family for a boogie!

We had a great day with Emma & Rennie and wish them all the very best for a future of fun and happiness.

Best

Jason
