Our first 2018 wedding kicked off in style with Anna & Tim's beautiful rustic, country themed wedding at Blackstock Barn in Hellingly. Blackstock is always a lovely venue to photograph and the stunning Granary Barn is a beautiful addition to the offering on the Blackstock Estate. Anna & Tim went for muted pastels for their colour scheme and simple decor in the form of hessian bows for the backs of the chairs and simple country flowers in hues of pinks.
The Bride wore a gorgeous ivory floor length dress with a low back and v neck front. The bodice had ivory appliqué to it and the skirt skimmed the floor in beautiful chiffon. The Bridesmaids looked amazing in muted taupe coloured chiffon gowns that were floor length and had pretty beading to the bodice which went to a sheer effect over the shoulders. The Bride and her Bridesmaids carried soft pink floral bouquets.
Tim & his Groomsmen 'strutted their stuff' in matching Navy suits with pale pink ties and Rose floral button holes. They were more than happy to get in on the action obliging Sam with some great 'before' shots of the Groom and his Groomsmen!
The ceremony was beautiful, as always at Blackstock, in the Tudor Barn and soon Anna & Tim walked back up the aisle surrounded by their nearest and dearest as Mr & Mrs. We let them have a mingle with their guests and take a breath to acknowledge that they had actually just got married (!) and then we took them out in the golf buggy to get some shots around the estate.
Later the party got into full swing in the Granary Barn which had been decorated with lots of floral centre pieces on the tables and pretty favours of jams & chutneys. The speeches kicked off after dinner and went really well with lots of laughs. A few more guests joined Anna & Tim in the evening for dancing and sweet eating at the sweetie table! We had a great day with Anna & Tim and thank them for being such a great couple to work with.
